ABOUT SABEA

​

Founded in 1982, SABEA is committed to providing professional development opportunities for adult educators across Saskatchewan. Our members deliver Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs in both urban and rural areas, equipping adults who have not completed high school with high-quality education that opens doors to further training, employment, and personal growth.

 

Through SABEA, instructors stay up to date with evolving skills, knowledge, and technology, ensuring they can best support students in their transition to the workforce or higher education. Additionally, SABEA fosters strong connections among educators, employers, colleges, and community stakeholders.

SABEA is committed to promoting the image of basic education in Saskatchewan through professional development workshops, social media, and its annual conference. By leveraging these initiatives, SABEA strives to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of education across the province.
